Key Responsibilities Sell furniture, accessories, and services while executing La‑Z‑Boy’s selling process. Promote the Design program and assist the Designer in achieving sales goals. Build rapport, discover needs, present customized portfolios, handle objections, close sales, and provide after‑sale service. Maximize store promotions, marketing initiatives, and grassroots programs. Schedule and execute professional home consultations, presenting customized room designs and installation recommendations. Support design‑related functions and maintain the overall visual appearance of the store. Accurately complete order information, deposits, fees, and daily system logs; schedule deliveries and pickups. Assist with customer service via phone, email, and in‑store inquiries, resolving issues and providing solutions. Train, coach, and develop new peers on product knowledge and selling process. Effectively use the Company’s POS (Podium) and other systems, ensuring customer satisfaction and future follow‑up. Open and close the store as required and maintain adherence to company standards and policies. Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous selling experience with a strong closing ability preferred. Excellent communication, customer‑service, and organizational skills. Strong interpersonal, persuasion, and negotiation skills. Ability to manage time, conflicting priorities, and work as a team. Work schedule adaptability: evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Initiative to meet assigned goals and strong attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Must pass background and drug screen; able to lift up to 50 lbs. Preferred Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
