Job Details

• Location: Augusta, GA
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Certifications: ACLS required
• Education/Experience: Basic nursing education with 1 year of relevant experience; no specific experience minimum required beyond this.
• Procedures performed on unit: N/A
• Unit Staffing: Staff work well as a team, with a self-scheduling policy for night shifts.
• Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:4 to 1:5 depending on patient condition
• Equipment: Alaris intravenous pumps, Welch Allyn vital signs machines, bladder scan, vein finder
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Policies: Unit specific policies and guidelines apply, including vital signs every 4 hours or more frequently as needed, and blood glucose checks as ordered.
• Additional Information: The team is very cohesive, and staff work well together. The unit maintains a friendly, team-oriented environment offering opportunities to work with new equipment and technology.
