IT Technician

Requirements Must have: Strong hands-on technical support capability with the ability to quickly identify and resolve hardware and software problems Experience supporting multiple operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including LAN setup, VPN configuration, firewall administration, and security practices Familiarity with troubleshooting common business software, including Microsoft Office Clear and effective communication skills for explaining technical issues to non-technical users and delivering excellent service Ability to manage desktop hardware, laptops, printers, and related peripherals while maintaining secure configurations Experience with help desk and ticketing platforms such as ServiceNow or Jira, with IT support workflow experience highly valued Responsibilities: Provide end-user technical assistance for hardware, software, and network-related issues across a range of platforms Maintain and support desktop computers, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices to keep systems running smoothly Diagnose and resolve operating system, application, and enterprise tool issues, including tools such as BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, Jira, and help desk systems Configure and administer network environments, including LANs, VPNs, firewalls, and other security controls to protect company data Help set up and support IT infrastructure components such as switches, routers, and servers Manage user access in Active Directory and similar directory services, including password resets and permission updates Record incidents and resolutions accurately and escale complex problems when needed for timely closure Company: We are seeking an IT Technician to join our dynamic team and play an important role in supporting and improving our technology environment.
