Important Requirements

• Must be flexible to work overtime as needed and participate in on-call duty.
• Must understand age-related developmental issues affecting pediatric and geriatric patients.
• Must maintain required ARRT continuing education credits.
• Must maintain current BLS certification.
• Must adhere to infection control, fire and safety, disaster, and hazardous waste policies.

Position Summary

The CT Technologist performs radiographic procedures under the guidance of a radiologist to assist in the diagnosis of disease and injuries. The role involves working effectively with patients and families, collaborating with other departments in patient care and performance improvement activities, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and adhering to departmental policies, procedures, and required competencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures to assist in diagnosis of disease and injuries.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Graduation from an approved school of radiologic technology.

Licensure

• State Department of Health license.

Required Certifications

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
• BLS/BCLS.
