**Exciting Opportunity for Occupational Therapists in Acute Care!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Occupational Therapist - **Setting:** Acute Care Hospital - **Shift:** Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:00) - **Experience Required:** 1 year in Acute Care, Medical, ICU & Inpatient Rehabilitation - **Licensure:** WA License required - **Charting System:** Epic (preferred) - **Patient Age Groups:** Adults, Geriatrics - **Patient Diagnoses:** Multi-trauma, TII, SCI, CVA, Surgical, Orthopedic, Parkinson’s, MS, etc. **Key Responsibilities:** - Evaluate and treat patients across various units, including Acute, Medical, ICU, and Inpatient Rehabilitation. - Conduct assessments for both acute and chronic disorders, focusing on functional activities. - Collaborate with COTAs for follow-up treatment plans, adjusting frequency based on patient needs. - Float between units as needed, providing flexibility and teamwork. **Preferred Skills:** - Edema Massage - Kinesiotaping - Prosthetics/Orthotics - Functional Splints - Orthoplast - Static Splints **Additional Requirements:** - Must be flexible and willing to cover additional patients as needed. - Strong time management skills and self-driven work ethic. - Friendly and outgoing personality to fit into our close-knit team. **Work Environment:** - Small rural hospital with an ICU, Medical, Surgery, and an 8-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility. - Engage with a diverse patient population to provide exceptional care. **Scheduling:** - Weekend rotation: 1 weekend every 4 weeks - Patient ratio: 8-9 patients per day **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
