Regional DirectorConnexzia is seeking an experienced Regional Director of Automation to drive sales growth for our packaging automation machinery across the SER region, primarily focusing on Georgia (GA) and Alabama (AL). This role is essential to increasing our market presence by selling capital equipment solutions tailored to the packaging industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in capital equipment sales, particularly within the packaging automation sector, and a proven ability to engage with clients, develop new business, and lead strategic sales initiatives.Base Salary: USD $115,000 to $125,000Bonus Eligible: YesFull Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package.Experience: 5+ years in capital equipment sales, with at least 3 years in packaging automation.Seniority Level: AssociateManagement Experience: Not requiredMinimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalentWillingness to Travel: Required (frequent travel within the region)Key Responsibilities:Lead sales efforts across the designated region to meet and exceed revenue goals for packaging automation machinery.Build and manage strong relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their unique packaging automation needs, and providing customized solutions.Identify growth opportunities within the assigned territory by leveraging knowledge of the packaging industry and market trends.Offer tailored solutions that address clients' complete packaging automation requirements from initiation through to successful project completion.Develop and execute a strategic sales plan that aligns with company goals and drives consistent growth in the region.Work closely with internal teams, including product development, engineering, and technical support, to ensure the smooth delivery of customer-centric solutions.Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry developments and adjust sales strategies accordingly.Qualifications:5+ years in capital equipment sales, with at least 3 years of experience in packaging automation machinery.Strong understanding of packaging automation machinery, including technical aspects of capital equipment sales.Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales targets while managing a regional sales territory.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex automation solutions in a clear and compelling manner.Willingness to travel regularly within the region for client meetings and industry events.Preferred Skills:Familiarity with key players and emerging trends within the packaging industry.Experience with CRM systems for managing sales pipelines and maintaining customer relationships.Ability to identify market opportunities and use them to drive a competitive edge.
