Job Description
The Dishwasher - Kitchen Prep role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen while supporting food preparation activities. Working within a dedicated kitchen team, this position ensures efficient dishwashing, proper kitchen sanitation, and waste management to uphold food safety standards. The role includes coordinating regularly with chefs and cooks and may require working daily shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Operate automated dishwashing machines to clean kitchenware efficiently
- Assist with kitchen prep tasks to support food service operations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and work areas
- Manage waste disposal
- Coordinate regularly with chefs and cooks to ensure smooth kitchen workflow
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Experience operating kitchen equipment
- Strong time management and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and physical stamina for demanding kitchen tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in kitchen operations
- Serve Safe certification
