About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Telemetry Profession: RN Specialty: RN - Telemetry Duration: 5 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Recent experience in an acute care facility preferred License: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required Certifications: - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required - NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required Description: Provides coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines. Utilizes critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in patient care. Collects relevant data pertinent to patients' health or situation. Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues. Develops patient care plans that prescribe interventions to achieve desired outcomes. Implements care plans, coordinates care delivery, and promotes health and safety. Evaluates progress toward achieving outcomes. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe and humane patient care. Provides learning opportunities for patients, family members, and team members. Directly provides health information to patients and families. Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Delegates tasks appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Commits to the safety and wellbeing of associates and patients. Requires all associates to receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment.
