- Deliver direct, patient-centered nursing care to acutely ill patients as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Assess patient status, develop and modify care plans, and document clinical progress in collaboration with physicians and other team members.
- Administer medications and treatments per orders, monitor responses, and address adverse events promptly.
- Lead and coordinate care as a charge-level nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff and ensuring safety and quality standards.
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team; provide education and participate in discharge planning and transitions of care.
- Maintain accurate records, uphold professional practice standards, and comply with applicable state regulations and nursing ethics. Requirements
- Active Georgia RN license (unrestricted)
- Ability to work in a hospital acute care setting and to cover night shifts
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to support an interdisciplinary care environment
- Knowledge of the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and the Code of Ethics standards for nursing
