Are you a skilled and detail-oriented Database Administrator (DBA) looking to take your career to the next level? Join our dynamic team at Escalent, where you'll have the opportunity to support databases across the enterprise, including multiple client applications. We are seeking a proactive and experienced DBA who is passionate about database performance, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer, configure, and maintain MSSQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL databases.
• Monitor database performance and optimize queries, indexes, and storage structures.
• Ensure database security by managing roles, privileges, and access controls.
• Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, including performance bottlenecks and outages.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize database design, stored procedures, and queries.
• Automate database maintenance tasks using scripts and database tools.
• Perform database upgrades, patches, and migrations as required.
• Work as part of our DevOps teams to support database deployment in cloud or on-prem environments.
• Maintain documentation of database architectures, configurations, and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Database Administrator.
• Proficiency in MSSQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL administration.
• Strong experience with SQL queries, indexing, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Understanding of database security best practices and access controls.
• Experience with backup, recovery, and high-availability solutions.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud database services (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database or similar).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Certification in database management (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate).
