You will test controls and make recommendations to the business to mitigate risk and strengthen our defenses./ppIn this role, not only will you lean into your analytical and problem solving skills by assessing the design and operational effectiveness of controls necessary to mitigate risks to the Company, but you will also grow your strategic and influencing skills as you engage with stakeholders across the Capital One Auto division. As an integral member of the team, you will have a high level of exposure across the division partnering closely with senior business and risk office leaders, technology, and data./ppIn this role, you will:/pulliTest regulatory controls across Financial Services to ensure Design and Operating effectiveness;/liliEngage cross-functionally to gain a deep understanding of controls: automated, manual, and hybrid;/liliDevelop a deep understanding of business strategies, products, services, and risk profile;/liliIdentify and assess the impact of the changing regulatory environment on business objectives and risk appetite;/liliAnalyze data to proactively identify risks and trends and provide insights that support internal customers in decision-making;/liliProvide guidance and advice to business partners on implementing risk policies and programs;/liliDrive collaboration between the risk, compliance, legal, and other business support functions;/liliEnsure independent escalation of risk management gaps, issues, and concerns to executive management and when appropriate, the Board of Directors, including emerging risks and regulatory focus areas;/liliIdentify opportunities to improve risk management practices and develop solutions to perfect risk management, eliminate waste, and deliver an exceptional customer experience/li/ulpBasic Qualifications:/pulliHigh School diploma, GED or equivalent certification/liliAt least 2 years of experience in project, process, program, or risk management/li/ulpPreferred Qualifications:/pulliBachelors Degree or military experience/lili2+ years of control testing experience/lili2+ years of experience in presenting to senior leadership/lili4+ years of experience in project, process, program, or risk management/li/ulpAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position/ppThe minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked./ppPlano, TX: $87,700 - $100,100 for Sr. Risk Associate/ppCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter./ppThis role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
