Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist with 1-2 years of experience for a 14-week night shift assignment requiring floating across multiple units.
Details
- Respiratory Therapy unit treating adult respiratory/cardiac and ortho patients
- Floating required to ICU, ED, Floors, MS, TELE, DOC, Psych, and NICU if applicable
- 12-hour night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, every other weekend rotation
- 36 hours per week over a 14-week assignment
- Call and holiday coverage requirements apply
- No holiday time off can be accommodated
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active RRT certification through NBRC or equivalent certifying body
- BLS certification required
- NRP certification highly desired
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an RRT
- Prior travel assignment experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- State license required if applicable
- All time off requests must be submitted at time of application
Additional Information
- Functions as part of the unit's staffing rotation pool, including mandatory overtime as needed to ensure coverage
- May float or be reassigned within 30 miles of the originally assigned facility based on clinical competence
- Local candidates accepted within 75 miles at the local pay rate
