Mammographer Position

Job Summary: Part time 8 hours per week! Great for Mothers hours! Saturday 7:30am-4pm Free Parking!

Under the administrative direction of the Mammography Supervisor, the Mammographer performs screening Mammography at a level of competence not requiring constant supervision to technical detail. Assumes responsibility for designated areas.

Qualifications:

• Required effective communication skills/ ability to build rapport with others.
• Proficiency in using computers and ability to quickly gain competency in various software applications, including hospital specific applications, Microsoft Office, cell phone, pager.
• Organizational skills to work in an efficient, orderly fashion.
• Maintain current CPR certification.
• Preferred One year of mammographer work experience.
• Required Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology Training program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRC/ ERT)
• Required Licensure with the Department of Public Health to practice Mammography in the state of Massachusetts required.
• Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist in Mammography (ARRT)(M) required.
• CPR Certification required.
