  • Elevate patient outcomes by providing high-acuity care across a diverse regional network, ranging from open ICU settings in rural Anderson and Kokomo to closed ICU environments in suburban Carmel and Fishers.
  • Drive clinical excellence by managing a varied patient census while collaborating with a specialized team that handles all admissions.
  • Enhance healthcare accessibility through a flexible PRN model, supporting the North Region team during census influxes and ensuring continuity of care during peak seasons.
  • Foster clinical collaboration by integrating with growing provider groups across four hospital campuses and the greater Indianapolis medical community.
  • Schedule Flexibility: No minimum shift requirements; schedules posted at least 3 months in advance.
  • Employed position: W2 position with Ascension St. Vincent Indiana.
  • Requirement: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
  • Requirement: MD or DO.

While serving the North Region, you will support Ascension St. Vincent Carmel, a full-service hospital featuring 24/7 emergency care and recognized as a top hospital in Indiana for cardiac care. The regional network also includes Ascension St. Vincent Fishers, Anderson (Level 3 Trauma), and Kokomo, offering a comprehensive range of specialties from neonatal care to advanced heart and vascular health. As part of the North Region team, you will serve a diverse population across Central Indiana within an integrated, nonprofit Catholic health system.

What Minimum Requirements You'll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.

What Additional Preferences We're Seeking

  • Experience: Previous Hospitalist experience is preferred, though highly motivated new graduates will be considered.
  • Clinical Versatility: Comfort navigating both open and closed ICU settings across rural and suburban facilities.
