Title: Healthcare Data Entry Specialist

Location: Remote – Must Reside in Missouri

Pay: $23.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM CST

Employment Type: W2 Assignment – 1-Year Assignment with Potential for Extension or Conversion to FTE Based on Business Needs

This position supports a healthcare organization by processing member- and provider-submitted correspondence and claims information. The role involves accurately entering data into computer systems while meeting established productivity goals and maintaining a high level of accuracy. The anticipated start date is November 2, 2026, with one week of training provided.

Responsibilities

• Enter member- and provider-submitted correspondence and claims information into designated systems.
• Review information carefully during data entry to maintain accuracy and completeness.
• Meet established productivity targets while maintaining required quality standards.
• Process a high volume of information while staying organized and paying close attention to detail.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous data entry experience.
• Typing speed of at least 60 words per minute (WPM) with a minimum of 95% accuracy. This is a firm requirement.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate data entry.
• Technical proficiency and the ability to navigate computer systems efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet productivity expectations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous healthcare data entry experience.
• Experience processing healthcare claims or correspondence, including appeals, medical records, or similar documentation.

Typing Assessment

• Candidates will be required to complete a typing test.
• A typing speed of 60 WPM or higher with at least 95% accuracy is required. Candidates must be able to demonstrate the necessary typing speed and accuracy to be considered.

Additional Details

• This is a fully remote position, but candidates must reside in Missouri.
• One week of training is provided.
