- Onboarding and scheduling: Orientation 24 hours; pre-approved time off for 2 shifts; 6 weekend shifts per contract; block scheduling

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care for adults and geriatrics in a Progressive Care/Telemetry setting, with monitoring of telemetry and vital signs.
- Interpret telemetry strips, identify dysrhythmias, and respond to rhythm changes; perform emergent cardioversion as needed.
- Manage cardiac/vasoactive infusions (no titration required) and provide care for post-op cardiac and stroke patients.
- Maintain central and peripheral lines, administer blood products as ordered, and assist with central line placement.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (PT, Respiratory, Phlebotomy, Pharmacy, Social Services, Rapid Response, Transport) and document in the Epic electronic charting system; participate in Rapid Response/Code events; support non-invasive airway management (BIPAP/CPAP).

Requirements
- Active RN license (State or Compact) in hand at time of submittal
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Minimum 1 year RN experience; Telemetry/PCU/Stepdown experience preferred; ability to work in 1:3-1:4 patient ratios
- Ability to work in a 24-bed PCU/Telemetry unit caring for adults and geriatrics, with weekend coverage required
