Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (Adults) position located in Reno, Nevada. The role involves providing respiratory therapy procedures as per protocol and physician orders to improve cardiopulmonary conditions across a broad patient age range, including neonatal to geriatric patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Located in Reno, Nevada.
• Required Qualifications: Certification: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required prior to start. Education: Respiratory Therapist (RT) license with at least 2+ years of acute care RT experience. License: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Nevada State License. Additional: Must apply for Nevada Point of Care Analyst license, and a General Supervisor of Point of Care or Director of Point of Care license is required before start.
• Schedule: Three shifts per week of 12 hours each, rotating days of the week, with varied shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Travelers may be required to float to meet organizational needs up to their competency level. May be scheduled for major holidays and may be asked to work additional shifts during the schedule period. The employer reserves the right to call off shifts, without penalty, 48 hours in advance for low census, and shifts may be full or partial. The schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekends, holidays, and call shifts.
