Technical Support Engineer

Must have: We want someone with a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience. We require at least 2 years of technology support experience. We are looking for a strong customer service orientation. We need excellent written and verbal communication skills. We value strong attention to detail and solid organizational abilities. We are seeking someone who shows initiative and can work both collaboratively and independently. Responsibilities: We provide technical assistance to clients in person, by phone, and through remote support tools while delivering excellent customer service. We support third-party vendor applications, operating systems, LAN connectivity, computer hardware such as servers and printers, mobile devices, and commercial software packages. We learn the functions and operation of new products, systems, and equipment. We continuously look for ways to improve processes, reduce turnaround time, streamline workflows, and enhance overall service quality. We use diagnostic software, reference materials, vendors, and hands-on experience to troubleshoot issues and offer how-to guidance. This full-time, on-site position follows a Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM schedule and may be based in our Cedar Rapids, Iowa or Manchester, Missouri office.
