Regional Class A CDL Driver

Job Overview Frito‑Lay is seeking experienced truck drivers to safely transport our products across the country. The position offers competitive pay that increases for top performers. Drivers will work routes varying by location, with possible overnight, weekend, and holiday assignments. Responsibilities Operate a tractor/trailer (automatic Volvo, International, or Freight Liner) in compliance with FMCSA regulations. Load and unload trailers, including palletized handling and use of a two‑wheeler; lift items overhead when required. Transport chips, dips, and related products to grocery stores, manufacturing facilities, storage units, and other traffic centers. Obtain delivery signatures, process returns, complete logs, and handle invoices or manifests. Use an electronic logging device (tablet or onboard computer) to record travel time and hours. Maintain pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections. Communicate regularly with customers, sales drivers, and dispatch throughout the shift. Adhere to FMCSA hours‑in‑service limits, which may include overnight trips and extended workdays. Qualifications Valid Class "A" commercial driver’s license. At least 100,000 verifiable accident‑free miles or more than 2,500 accident‑free hours. Availability to work weekends, holidays, and variable schedules. Physical ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products; sit up to five hours daily; work up to 14 hours a day and drive up to 11 hours. Ability to bid on routes using a seniority‑based electronic bid board. Strong focus on safety, defensive driving, and compliance with company and federal standards.
