JOB TITLE: Engineering Project Coordinator



LOCATION: Torrance, CA



PAY RATE: $74.74/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (6 months with potential for extension)

Summary:

• Coordinates engineering projects and ensures company resources are utilized appropriately.

• Compiles project status reports and coordinates project schedules.

• Manages project meetings and identifies and resolves technical problems.

• Identifies and analyzes requirements and defines project scope, requirements, and deliverables.

• Coordinates project activities and ensures all project phases are documented appropriately.

• Uses Microsoft Project for project scheduling and resource management.

• Applies thermal management knowledge for project planning and execution.

• Performs a variety of tasks with a degree of creativity and latitude.

• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

• Ensures technical problems are resolved and project deliverables are met.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field is required.

• 4-6 years of experience in project engineering or a related area.

• Proficient in Microsoft Project with demonstrated hands-on experience for project scheduling.

• Experience coordinating engineering projects and managing project resources.

• Experience compiling project status reports and coordinating schedules.

• Experience identifying and resolving technical problems.

• Experience defining project scope, requirements, and deliverables.

• Ability to work independently with strong initiative and self-starting capability.

• Thermal management experience is preferred.
