What You'll Do As a Georgia Therapist, you'll work closely with clients, families, treatment teams, and community partners to deliver comprehensive behavioral health services. Day to day, you can expect to Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and utilize evidence-based assessment tools to identify client needs and develop individualized treatment recommendations Create treatment plans with measurable goals and objectives tailored to each individual's unique strengths, challenges, and circumstances Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based interventions that address concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral challenges, and other mental health conditions Maintain consistent engagement with clients and families, monitor treatment progress, and adjust interventions as needed to support positive outcomes Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, schools, healthcare providers, and community resources to ensure coordinated, holistic care Provide crisis intervention, safety planning, referrals, and connections to community resources while maintaining timely and accurate documentation in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards What To Expect This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families while working within a collaborative behavioral health environment. Additional Responsibilities For IFI/FCT Therapists Deliver intensive in-home and community-based therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and families Utilize the evidence-based Family Centered Treatment model and maintain fidelity to all program standards Guide families through all phases of the FCT process using approved therapeutic interventions Complete all required FCT documentation, fidelity tools, and model-specific requirements Obtain FCT certification within one year of employment Complete required check-offs, internal trainings, supervision activities, and fidelity reviews within designated timeframes Maintain adherence to ongoing certification and program requirements necessary for continued participation in the FCT program We welcome candidates who bring a passion for helping others and meet the following qualifications Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field required Minimum of two years of experience working with children and/or families, including internships Must be eligible for professional licensure in Georgia as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Licensed Clinical Social #J-18808-Ljbffr Health Connect America, Inc.
