This contract opportunity requires supporting both middle and high school populations as you provide essential psychological services within a school setting. Located near Sylva, NC, you’ll use your knowledge in evaluations and triennials while collaborating with educators and families.

Qualifications:

• Valid North Carolina Psychology license
• Active School Psychologist license from the Department of Education
• Proven experience conducting evaluations and triennials
• Background supporting middle and high school students
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Willingness to work onsite as required (with flexibility to complete reports at home, based on testing and meetings)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations and triennial assessments for students in alignment with district and state guidelines
• Collaborate with school staff, administrators, and families to address students’ social, emotional, and academic needs
• Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Provide input and recommendations to support student success and well-being
• Utilize strong organizational skills to balance onsite responsibilities and remote report writing as scheduling permits
