The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining industrial presses, ensuring high-quality production and adherence to safety standards.Set up, operate, and monitor industrial presses to produce high-quality parts and componentsRead and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production schedulesPerform regular quality checks on produced items to ensure they meet specificationsConduct basic maintenance and troubleshooting on press equipmentAdhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work areaCollaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlinesReport any equipment malfunctions or production issues to supervisors promptlyMaintain accurate records of production output and material usageQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience as a press operator preferredProficiency in operating industrial presses and related equipmentBasic mechanical skills and ability to perform routine maintenanceAbility to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production schedulesStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityPhysical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 poundsExcellent time management and organizational skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentWillingness to work second shift or third shift hoursKnowledge of manufacturing processes and safety proceduresOetiker, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
