Description

American Traveler is hiring an Operating Room RN for a day-shift assignment requiring at least 1 year of OR experience and current ACLS/BLS certification.

Details

• Operating Room setting supporting general surgery, gynecology, orthopedic, neurology, ENT, and vascular procedures
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Procedures include hysterectomy, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernia repair, joint replacement, laminectomy/discectomy, tonsillectomy, and vascular surgery support
• Epic EMR experience required
• Travelers may be expected to float between nearby sister facilities

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license required, must be in hand at time of consideration
• Current BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Operating Room experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required

Additional Information

• Provide perioperative nursing care across general surgery, gynecology, orthopedic, neurology, ENT, and vascular specialties
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Former Providence permanent employees must be separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months to qualify
• Returning staff must wait at least 3 months and reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during the consideration process
