Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Per Diem Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) position is available for a mail order medical equipment provider. This role is ideal for a licensed California pharmacist with prior PIC experience, offering flexible remote work with the requirement to be local to the facility for occasional onsite duties. The assignment is expected to last 4 to 8 weeks, providing coverage until the assigned PIC obtains a California license.

Location: Arroyo Grande, CA (Remote work possible, must be local for onsite needs)

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, daytime hours
• Minimum commitment of 11 hours per week guaranteed

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge ensuring compliance with California regulations
• Oversee pharmacy operations in accordance with state and federal laws
• Be available onsite as needed, maintaining a local presence near the facility
• Provide professional expertise supporting mail order medical equipment services
• Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by licensing authorities

Qualifications/Experience:

• Valid California pharmacist license
• Previous experience as a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC)
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance relevant to pharmacy operations
• Ability to work independently and remotely with reliable communication
• Proximity to Arroyo Grande to accommodate onsite visits when necessary
