Job Title: Interventional Radiology Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: WA Rad Tech License required Certifications: ARRT, BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Experience in neuro interventions, cardiac procedures, and vascular procedures - Capability to work variable days including weekends and on-call shifts Description: This is a dual role for both cath lab and interventional radiology. The shift consists of four 10-hour days with variable start times. Schedules are posted in advance on the 15th of each month. The role includes one night of call per week and one weekend per month. Daily caseload includes four Angio suites and two ORs. Responsibilities encompass neuro interventions like strokes and cerebral diagnostics. Cardiac responsibilities include STEMI and PCI procedures. Vascular work involves run-offs, TEVAR, EVAR, and other body interventions. The facility is a Magnet-designated teaching institution with a diverse patient population. Charting is done using Epic. The position requires floating within the department as necessary. Preferred experience includes working with infants and pediatrics. Candidates must have experience with specialized equipment such as Phillips and Siemens. The ideal candidate will be flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the department.
