Applicants should be eager to learn about the many facets of running and managing a business, from day-to-day tasks to generating big-picture ideas.Job Responsibilities:Maintain and replace automation systems at key points in the production processTroubleshoot non-functioning components including sensors, and control componentsLog equipment usage, parts replacement, and scheduled maintenance to ensure maximum functionalityPeriodically report to Operations Manager regarding automation capabilities and statusWorking with vendors specific to the automation line when repairs or malfunctions occurReceives and completes daily production needs from floor supervisorHolds team working with automation equipment accountable for all OSHA, state, and local safety and environmental standardsQualifications & Skills (Required):Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsProficient Microsoft Office Suite/Office365Excellent mechanical aptitudeUnderstanding of OSHA regulations (OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certified preferred)PLC Experience highly desiredEducation and Experience Requirements:Bachelors or Associates in mechanical engineering, robotics, or a related fieldExperience working with tools, including hand and electrical tools with emphasis on robotics repairs1-3 years experience in a robotics or mechanical technician roleRugPadUSA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
