Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification (applicable for K-12)
• Demonstrated experience working with students who have diverse learning needs
• Strong knowledge of IEPs and experience in program development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Effective classroom management abilities and the ability to adapt instructional strategies
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills for working with students, families, and educational teams
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small-group instruction to K-12 students as outlined in their IEPs
• Assess student abilities and progress; maintain detailed and timely documentation
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
• Modify and adapt curriculum materials to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training initiatives
• Create a safe, respectful, and positive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning
