Job Summary

Radiologic Technologist to provide mobile X-ray and, when needed, EKG services at nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other locations throughout the Richmond area.

This is a great opportunity for a technologist who enjoys working independently, traveling to different facilities, and providing bedside diagnostic services directly to patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform portable X-ray exams using DR/CR radiography equipment.
• Obtain high-quality, clinically diagnostic images and transmit them for radiologist interpretation.
• Transport and safely operate portable X-ray equipment at various facilities.
• Perform EKGs when required.
• Complete exam documentation and billing paperwork according to protocol.
• Communicate with dispatch, management, facility staff, and patients professionally.
• Maintain the company vehicle and X-ray equipment.
• Provide excellent patient care while working in different healthcare settings.
  

Requirements

• ARRT Certification – Required
• Active Virginia Radiologic Technologist License – Required
• Limited license is not accepted.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Must live within 30 minutes of Richmond, VA.
• COVID-19 vaccination required, or approved exemption documentation.
• Ability to safely push/pull portable equipment weighing approximately 50–100 lbs.
