We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Handyman to join our facilities team. This role is essential in ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our building environments through comprehensive maintenance and repair activities. The ideal candidate will possess a broad skill set in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work, demonstrating a proactive approach to maintaining high standards of building operations. Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair for commercial and retail buildings.
• Performs semi-skilled trades work in a variety of trades areas for construction, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment; including welding, carpentry, masonry, mechanical maintenance, minor electrical, minor plumbing, minor refrigeration and air conditioning, and painting, etc.
• Provide preventive maintenance (PM) and emergency repairs if necessary
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC equipment (if applicable), and perform interior repairs, painting, etc.
• Assists independent contractors with services in the building and other departments with projects as needed.
• Works as a member of a team and take initiative to work independently as needed.

Requirements

• 2 years experience in building trades or building maintenance required.
• Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc. required
• 2 years experience with the proper and safe use of a wide variety of hand and power tools required.
• Must have a High School diploma or GED
• Ability to lift 40-60 lbs frequently.
• Ability to perform numerous physical activities that require considerable use of your hands, arms and legs and moving your whole body, including prolonged or repeated standing, walking, climbing, sweeping, stooping, kneeling, shoveling, and crouching.
• Must have a valid, clean driver's license
