Description

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a Days surgery center position requiring 3+ years of experience across multiple specialties.

Details

Surgery center setting supporting ortho, general, spine, vascular, urology, and OB procedures
6 operating rooms with a 1:1 patient ratio
Days shift, 6:30am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday 10-hour shifts with a rotating weekday off
Call required with no floating and no 48-hour workweek expectations
Uses Cerner EMR
Scrubs provided

Requirements

BLS certification required
CST certification preferred
License required if applicable
3+ years of surgical technology experience required
Experience with ortho, general, spine, vascular, urology, and OB cases
Experience with DaVinci, Mako, and Globus robotic surgical systems

Additional Information

Prepare the operating room and sterile field, including surgical equipment, supplies, and solutions
Pass instruments, fluids, and supplies to the surgeon during procedures
Manage the sterile field and specimens throughout surgery
Perform counts of sponges and supplies to prevent retained foreign objects
RTO blackout during the week of Thanksgiving and Christmas
Maximum RTO of 2 weeks
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
