Job Title: Endoscopy Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Valid nursing license Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in an endoscopy unit - At least 1 travel assignment as an endoscopy nurse - Experience with colonoscopies and basic endoscopic procedures Description: This position involves working 8-hour shifts, primarily conducting colonoscopies and basic endoscopic procedures. Flexibility is required for cases running late, with start times varying from 6:15 AM to 8:00 AM based on the weekly case mix. Shifts are structured as 8 hours, but candidates must be willing to remain until the close of a case if it runs long. The endoscopy unit includes procedure rooms for conscious sedation, and procedures requiring anesthesia are conducted nearby.
