Job Description Berman Hyundai is seeking an experienced Hyundai Journeyman Technician (Union - Local 701) to join our growing service team. Pay: $45.15 per flat rate hour (Based on experience & certifications) Location: Lincolnwood, IL Why Join Our Team? Union shop representation and job security Company-paid health insurance and pension Company-paid ASE certifications and factory training (including travel) Company-paid tool insurance and uniforms Paid Time Off (PTO) and employee discounts Access to shop for personal vehicle repairs after hours Responsibilities Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Hyundai vehicles according to manufacturer standards Accurately diagnose electrical, mechanical, and drivability concerns Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship Utilize Hyundai diagnostic equipment, service information, and special tools Document repair orders thoroughly and accuratelyMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Work collaboratively with service advisors, parts personnel, and fellow technicians Stay current with Hyundai training and technical service bulletins Qualifications ASE Certified Valid driver's license with a clean 3-year driving record. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical duties of an automotive technician.
