Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist with expertise in Computed Tomography (CT) to join our team in [City, State] . The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality imaging services to patients while ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

• Review patient history and physician's orders effectively.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examinations to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and medications as per physician orders, within the scope of practice.
• Continuously monitor patient conditions and respond proactively to any changes.
• Prepare imaging equipment and necessary supplies for procedures.
• Implement safety standards and execute quality control procedures on imaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot and report any equipment malfunctions in a timely manner.
• Position patients accurately to perform imaging procedures.
• Analyze imaging results and identify any issues with image quality.
• Take appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patients and repeating procedures if necessary.
• Enter, transmit, and report scan results to the appropriate parties.

Qualifications

• Must possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
• ARRT certification in Radiology (RD) and Computed Tomography (CT) is required.
• Valid state licensure for Radiologic Technology and Computed Tomography.
• Minimum of two years of recent experience in Radiology and Computed Tomography.
• Willingness to float between the X-ray and CT departments as needed.
• Experience with Siemens 16 slice CT machines is preferred.

Work Schedule

This position requires availability for shifts on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
