Qualifications High School diploma/GED Minimum of two (2) years experience in mechanical repair, installation, and construction in heavy industry. Working knowledge of basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems as well as the use of all shop equipment such as welding and machining equipment. Lock-Out/Tag-Out experience Welding experience Responsibilities Inspects condition and operation of plant and mobile equipment and performs necessary repairs, adjustments, and preventative maintenance including handling welding repairs. Completes work orders in a timely manner, installing, repairing and fabricating materials out of metal; ensuring availability and functioning of required items; and ensuring safety and resolving immediate safety concerns. Responsible for preparing and welding steel and aluminum structures, appendages and equipment. Conducts routine inspections of plant and mobile equipment and report findings to Area Manager. Responds to emergency situations as needed and/or assigned for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns. #J-18808-Ljbffr
