Neighbors Heating & Cooling | Ames, IA$20–$25/hour | Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM–5:00 PMAre you great at keeping schedules organized, solving problems as plans change, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks?Neighbors Heating & Cooling is looking for a Service Scheduling Coordinator to help manage the daily schedules of our Service Technicians. You'll be the connection between our customers, technicians, and office team-keeping everyone informed and the day running efficiently.No HVAC experience is required. Experience in logistics, dispatching, scheduling, transportation, or customer service is preferred.What You'll DoSchedule and dispatch Service Technicians based on location, availability, and skill levelAdjust schedules throughout the day as priorities changeMaintain efficient technician routing and minimize downtimeAnswer customer calls and schedule service appointmentsCommunicate appointment updates and delays to customersSchedule return visits when parts arriveMonitor upcoming workload and service capacityPrepare and follow up on service estimatesCoordinate residential and commercial maintenance schedulingMaintain accurate customer and service recordsAssist with billing information and past-due account follow-upWork closely with the Office Manager and Service ManagerWhat We're Looking ForStrong organization and attention to detailExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to multitask and shift priorities quicklyComfortable making decisions in a fast-paced environmentDependable and punctualComfortable learning new computer programs and processesLogistics, dispatching, or scheduling experience preferredHVAC experience is not requiredPay & Benefits$20–$25/hour, based on experiencePaid time off after 60 days401(k) with company match after one yearSmall-group health insurance available to eligible employees; premiums are currently employee-paidCompany-provided uniformsMonday–Friday schedule with minimal overtimeAbout UsNeighbors Heating & Cooling has served Ames and Central Iowa for approximately 40 years.
