Company Description Water Runner is a Texas-based company that purifies and delivers water to customers across the lower 48 states on a routine and emergency basis, operating 24/7/365. The company provides bulk drinking water, R.O./D.I. water, tank rentals, and R.O. system support to meet a wide range of commercial and industrial needs.

Role Description The Operations Manager is a full-time role based in the Panhandle region of Texas, responsible for overseeing daily water purification, field service and delivery operations. This position manages scheduling and dispatch of routine and emergency deliveries, ensuring timely service to regional customers. The Operations Manager coordinates with field teams, drivers, and technicians to maintain equipment readiness, monitor inventory levels, and uphold safety and quality standards. The role includes optimizing routes and workflows, tracking performance metrics, and implementing process improvements to enhance service efficiency. This person will also serve as our company's primary point of contact for critical customers in the Region. This individual will also collaborate with leadership to forecast demand, support customer service teams, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Operations management and logistics skills, including scheduling, dispatch coordination, and workflow optimization.
• Experience overseeing field service or industrial service teams, with a focus on safety, quality, and equipment readiness.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities to handle routine and emergency service demands.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with drivers, technicians, leadership, and customers.
• Proficiency with basic office and operations software (e.g., spreadsheets, scheduling tools, CRM or dispatch systems).
• Knowledge of industrial water services, utilities, or related industries is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in Midland, TX, with flexibility for extended hours or on-call support as operational needs require.
• Relevant education or experience in operations management, supply chain, business, or a related field preferred.
• Bonus - CDL-A with tanker endorsement would be a plus
