Facility: Morton Plant North Bay

Location: New Port Richey, FL


Status: Full Time, Salaried

Shift Hours: 6:30am-3:00pm


Manager Respiratory Care Summary:

• Responsible for the day-to-day operations of respiratory care services at assigned facilities including staffing, fiscal management, development of policies, procedures, and protocols, quality improvement, and interaction with physicians.
• Assists team members as needed, communicates information to team members as applicable and coaching, counseling and mentoring.
• Acts a liaison between patients, team members, physicians, other customers, and administration.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Required Education: Associates in Related Field. Preferred Education: Bachelors in Related Field; Masters in Management.
• Required Experience: 5 years Respiratory; OR 5 years Cardiopulmonary; 3 years Management Role in a related field; OR 3 years Supervisory Role in a related field. Preferred Experience: 5 years Management Role in a related field.
• Preferred Credentials: National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC); Adult Critical Care Specialty (ACCS), Neonatal/Pediatric Respiratory Care Specialty (NPS), Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT) OR BS degree that meets Community-Acquired Pneumonia (CAPS) requirement. Preferred Membership: American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) - The Florida Society for Respiratory Care (FSRC).
