Job Description Multimedia Account Executive Department Sales Location New Jersey Category Full‑Time, Salary + Commission based structure with uncapped earning potential. FLSA Status Exempt Company Overview Pillar Media, home to STAR 99.1 NYC/NJ, STAR 93.3 Cincinnati, STAR 101.5, FLO 107.1, and KPOF in Denver, is looking for a highly motivated sales professional, who is strategic and digitally savvy, to join our close‑knit team. As a member of our New Jersey Team, you will represent STAR 99.1 and a full suite of digital products, STAR Digital Strategies. Digital Sales experience is a plus. Strong understanding of local marketing and digital media. Experienced with selling processes consisting of prospecting, rapport building, needs analysis, proposal preparation, in‑person presentations, closing, and servicing accounts. Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles. Experience with integrative campaigns involving traditional and digital advertising. A background in related fields such as copywriting, telemarketing, and customer service. Strong skills in planning, communicating, organizing, and developing customer relationships. Responsibilities Sell traditional radio, sponsorships, digital, and other station promotions. Identify prospects by presenting solutions to help them meet their goals. Set up appointments. Create and present written proposals. Close the sale. Collect and service client accounts. Acquire new long‑term business partnerships while servicing and growing those relationships. Attend mandatory station meetings as necessary (staff meeting, sales meeting, bi‑weekly one‑on‑one with direct supervisor, and any other scheduled mandatory meetings).
