We are looking for an IT Support Engineer who has strong problem-solving capabilities. Under the supervision of the IT lead, you will be responsible for maintaining infrastructure components, improving internal automation tools, and helping to identify and resolve user-reported issues. Responsibilities As an IT Support Engineer, your core responsibilities include: 25% of your time working with the Internal IT team on new initiatives and projects 75% of your time maintaining IT Infrastructure and support requests Creation, research, analysis, engineering and implementation of internal technical solutions that assist in increased employee productivity and result in better self-serve IT environment Analysis and implementation of current security and compliance controls specific to internal IT processes and systems to ensure HIPAA-compliant internal infrastructure Read documentation and assist with Single Sign On & software integrations Create scripts and automations using programming languages such as Python, Bash, etc. Create knowledge base for implemented solutions and provide education to all employees on new processes and technologies On-call schedule to support our team members during off hours and weekends Provide troubleshooting and problem resolution on employee issues with internal tools Maintenance of hardware and software deployed to the infrastructure of the office and workstations Aid in onboarding and offboarding responsibilities and procedures Connect and communicate with vendors to troubleshoot/implement new hardware and software Weekend rotational on-call (1 weekend day every 2 weeks) Desired Skills & Experience High school diploma (or equivalent) or higher degree 2+ years of experience in IT Tech savvy and comfortable with web apps including Slack, Google WorkSpace, Zoom Admin, Okta Admin, Mobile Device Management solutions and Identity lifecycle SaaS to ensure business runs smoothly You should be able to use these tools with ease and be resourceful to troubleshoot any issues you have Experience in technical quality assurance Record and document results and compare to expected results Great documentation and communication skills utilizing Notion Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure Any technical certifications are welcomed Passion, drive, energy, and a great attitude Benefits We offer a competitive benefits program including: Medical, dental, vision, life & disability insurance 401(k) plan with company match Flexible Time Off (FTO), wellbeing days, paid holidays, and summer Fridays Mental health resources Paid parental leave & Backup Care Tuition reimbursement Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) California Job Applicant Privacy Notice Thank you for your interest in opportunities at SimplePractice LLC (“SimplePractice” or “us” or “we” or “our”). Employees may also be eligible for an annual bonus or commission. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. The amount below represents the expected annual base compensation range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we’ll consider many factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
