About the Role The Finance Supervisor – Pricing & Profitability is an integral part of Latham’s Revenue & Financial Analysis team. This role will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day pricing support operations, supervising a team of Pricing Analysts, including workload management, coaching, training, and performance development; and providing strategic pricing guidance to attorneys and business stakeholders across the firm, while performing sophisticated pricing and profitability analyses for complex matters, alternative fee arrangements, client proposals, and strategic initiatives. This role will be located in ourGlobal Services Office in Downtown Los Angeles. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence. Responsibilities & Qualifications Other key responsibilities include: Overseeing the team’s shared pricing request intake process and ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality service delivery across all requests Providing ongoing technical and leadership development to team members to strengthen analytical capabilities, communication skills, and business judgment Leading pricing discussions directly with partners and attorneys, providing strategic guidance and recommendations related to fee structures, profitability considerations, pricing strategy, and commercial positioning Supporting the development of budgets, fee estimates, profitability models, and matter economics analyses Collaborating cross-functionally with Finance, Business Development, Practice Management, Legal Project Management, and other business services teams to enhance service delivery Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains We’d love to hear from you if you: Possess well-developed knowledge of market research resources, financial reporting and modeling, and project management skills Demonstrate the ability to consistently exercise independent judgment and discretion Display excellent analytical skills needed for all primary duties of position, including comprehending and communicating data, and performing detailed analyses independently And have: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in economics, finance, business administration, or related field An advanced degree, preferably A minimum of three (3) years of analytical experience in finance or related professional services environment A minimum of five years of cumulative professional experience Benefits & Additional Information Successful candidates will not only be provided with an outstanding career opportunity and welcoming environment, but will also be provided with a generous total compensation package with bonuses awarded in recognition of both individual and firm performance.
