Machine Operator

Tape Operator Location: Frazeysburg, OH. Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 4:15 PM – 2:45 AM. Starting pay: Up to $19.25/hr + 10% shift differential ($21+/hr). Why Join Ridge? This position plays a key role in maintaining product quality, meeting production goals, and supporting safe and efficient operations. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail‑oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a production environment both independently and as part of a team. Previous machine operation, manufacturing, or industrial experience is preferred. Essential Responsibilities Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently Learn and follow work instructions, procedures, and production specifications Perform machine startup, shutdown, and basic troubleshooting Load and manage production materials including creels and rewind stations Conduct quality inspections to ensure product standards are met Utilize HMI controls and ERP systems for production tracking and data entry Maintain production goals and efficiency standards Follow Lock Out / Tag Out and all company safety procedures Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S principles Communicate effectively with production, quality, maintenance, engineering, and leadership teams Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and process improvements Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Previous manufacturing, machine operation, or industrial experience preferred Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability preferredAbility to read work instructions and basic production specifications Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment Strong attendance, communication, and teamwork skills Self‑motivated with strong attention to detail High school diploma or GED preferred Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to safely use hand and power tools Ability to lift, move, and handle production materials as needed Benefits Quarterly wage increase opportunities Comprehensive benefits package after 30 days (Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription, Short & Long‑Term Disability, etc.) 401(k) with company match and immediate vesting Nine paid holidays 40 hours of vacation available upon hire Employee events, food trucks, field day and team activities Opportunities for growth and advancement #J-18808-Ljbffr Air Comfort, Inc
