Schedule: M-F 8:00 AM 6:00 PM / 7-on 7-off model with occasional weekends

Duration: Ongoing

Hours per Week: 40

Licenses/Certifications: Active North Carolina Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license and NC DEA

Experience: Prior inpatient cardiology APP experience required

EMR: Cerner experience preferred

What You'll Do

• Conduct inpatient cardiology rounding and consults
• Support cardiologists in patient care management
• Assist with patient assessments and documentation using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care
• Follow established clinical protocols and documentation standards
• Participate in on-call rotations if required

What You Need

Required:

• Active North Carolina Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
• NC DEA registration
• Prior outpatient/inpatient cardiology experience
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred:

• Experience with inpatient cardiology procedures or diagnostics
• Flexibility to adapt to schedule variations
