Diesel Mechanic
Job Location: Gladewater, TX
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00+ per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join a growing team in Gladewater, TX . In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a diverse fleet of equipment, including tractor-trailers, forklifts, loaders, and trailers. This is a full-time, day-shift opportunity offering competitive pay, company-provided tools, and long-term career stability.
Job Responsibilities- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel-powered equipment and vehicles
- Perform preventative maintenance on tractor-trailers, trailers, forklifts, and loaders
- Identify and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine-related issues
- Complete routine inspections and scheduled maintenance services
- Document repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment service records
- Communicate equipment needs and repair recommendations to the Lead Mechanic
- Ensure all work is completed safely and according to company standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Experience repairing and maintaining tractor-trailers, forklifts, and loaders is required
- Strong diesel engine diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment
