Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting middle school students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming academic year. In this dynamic role, you'll work closely with 6th through 8th grade learners, helping to develop their communication skills and fostering their growth in an inclusive educational environment. The position runs from August 17, 2026, through June 10, 2027, following a standard school calendar.

Your expertise will guide approximately 55 students, offering both assessment and intervention, with the flexibility to deliver services in-person or via teletherapy, depending on student needs. With a supportive school community, you'll collaborate with fellow staff, provide individualized education, and make a meaningful impact each week.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility for your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
• Experience or strong interest in working with middle school students
• Familiarity with school-based or teletherapy service delivery models
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs, conduct assessments, and maintain documentation
• Positive, proactive attitude toward student development

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative SLP services to a caseload of approximately 55 students in grades 6-8
• Conduct evaluations, write reports, and develop personalized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support communication goals
• Maintain accurate and timely records to ensure compliance with district and state regulations
• Adapt service delivery for in-person and teletherapy as needed
• Provide expertise in middle school language, literacy, and social communication
