Hardware Hawaii, a local retail hardware and lumber business, is seeking a customer oriented and dependable individual for a full-time position as a CDL driver. The individual we seek is outgoing and enjoys working with customers in providing the best possible customer service.
Position Summary:
Performs general delivery services of lumber and building materials.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Comply with all laws, Company’s policies, procedures and safety protocol.
Ensure that vehicle is in a proper and safe operating condition.
Keep accurate information in regards to deliveries and equipment; complete and turn in all pertinent documentation at the end of shift.
Maintain proper communication with dispatcher and customers
Attend all required safety training and provide valid certifications.
Operate company property safety, i.e. the moving of containers, trailers, chassis, flatbeds, forklifts, etc.
Performs other labor including the loading and unloading of materials and vehicles to various destinations.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must have 3-5 years of commercial driving experience
Must have a current Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A)
Must possess knowledge of current Commercial Driver’s rules and regulations
