Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Provide patient care in a 67-bed emergency department
• Work collaboratively with a team including supervisors, charge nurses, techs, and CNAs
• Assess and monitor patient conditions efficiently in a high-acuity environment
• Utilize EMR systems to document patient care and treatment plans

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• 2 years of ER experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification
• Preferred: Knowledge of MEDITECH EMR
