Job Description

This role focuses on structural MIG welding to repair, reinforce, and restore steel beams, columns, and connections within a large, active warehouse environment. You will perform extensive overhead and vertical welding from aerial lifts, follow strict safety and hot-work procedures, and ensure the structural integrity of steel components throughout a large-scale warehouse restoration project.

Must be comfortable welding at heights from boom lifts and scissor lifts.

In this role, you'll perform structural steel repairs and reinforcement on beams, columns, and supports within an active warehouse facility. This position involves overhead, vertical, and horizontal MIG welding while following strict safety standards and ensuring the integrity of structural steel components.

• Perform structural MIG welding on steel beams, columns, supports, and connections
• Complete overhead, vertical, and horizontal welds to project specifications
• Operate boom lifts, JLG lifts, and scissor lifts safely while working at height
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and structural drawings
• Grind, fit, align, and prepare materials for welding
• Inspect completed welds and perform repairs as needed
• Use fabrication tools such as grinders, magnetic drills, and torches
• Follow all hot-work permits, fall protection, and site safety procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

• Minimum 1 year of structural MIG welding experience
• Experience welding structural steel, including beams and columns
• Ability to perform overhead and vertical welding
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
• Comfortable working at heights on boom lifts and scissor lifts
• Ability to pass a structural MIG weld test
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

This is a Contract position based out of York, PA.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in York,PA.
