Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Engineer with a background in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for entering, maintaining, validating, and updating engineering and manufacturing data in company databases, ERP systems, and engineering documentation tools.
The candidate should have a good understanding of engineering drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), part numbers, product specifications, and manufacturing processes, along with strong data accuracy and documentation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter, update, and maintain engineering and manufacturing data in ERP systems, databases, and internal applications.
- Review and validate engineering drawings, part numbers, product specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Maintain accurate records of materials, components, inventory, production data, and engineering documents.
- Update product data, manufacturing records, technical specifications, and engineering change documentation.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in engineering data entry, engineering documentation, manufacturing data management, or a related role.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Basic understanding of mechanical components, engineering drawings, BOMs, part numbers, and product specifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other MS Office applications.
- Experience working with ERP systems, PLM tools, or engineering databases is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of data accuracy.
- Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
