Hospitalist Obstetrics Physician – Madison, WI | Full-Time, Weekends Join a leading facility in Madison, Wisconsin, as a Hospitalist Obstetrics Physician and enjoy a rewarding schedule with excellent pay, comprehensive benefits, and a collaborative team environment. Quick Facts Location: Madison, WI Start Date: 10/31/2026 End Date/Duration: 01/30/2027 Shift: Day 3x12-hour shifts (06:00 am – 6:00 pm) Hours per Week: 36 hours Employment Type: Full-Time Licenses/Certs: Board Certified or eligible (within 2 years), BLS, ACLS, NRP Experience: 1-3 years preferred Travel Reimbursements: Airfare, rental, lodging included Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $253.50 (Regular rate, with overtime and holiday multipliers as applicable) Pay Package discussed upon application Benefits include: Weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical coverage, robust referral bonuses, licensure and travel reimbursements, paid sick time, and 24/7 support team What You’ll Do Oversee all labor and delivery activities, including performing cesarean sections and vaginal deliveries Conduct morning rounds on obstetric and gynecologic patients Manage GYN emergencies and perform surgeries from ED consults Provide antenatal care for high-risk pregnancies such as preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, and fetal anomalies Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including CNMs, OB GYN residents, and medical students Support regional trauma and transfer center operations for rural hospitals Participate in postpartum care, family planning, and contraceptive counseling What You Need Active Medical License (IMLC accepted) Certification: Board Certified or eligible (within 2 years) Key Skills: High-Risk Obstetrics, Gynecologic procedures, Emergency response Experience: 1–3 years highly preferred, including managing complex obstetric cases Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP; DEA preferred About the Assignment This role is based at a regional medical center with a busy OB/GYN service supporting high-risk pregnancies and labor/delivery. The hospital features on-site NICU, 24/7 OB/GYN consults, and strong multidisciplinary support. A dedicated team environment ensures collaboration and high-quality patient care.
